Rosie was a puppymill breeder female. She escaped from her wire cage and was later picked up and returned but her owner didn't want her any more. She was very sweet but timid .Her front feet a splaied due to being in a cage all her life. If you picked her up or petted her she stiffins and cowers. She also has a popping knee cap that needs surgery. She was adopted by a very nice couple.. When she was spayed she refused to eat afterwards . And what little she took in she'd bring up again . Rosie was returned into rescue. Her owners could not handle the fact that she doesnt know commands nor did they have the patience or time to train her . She is now adopted by a wonderful person Kathy Labay. She is despartly going to need lots of work, love, and knee surgery

Rosie did really, really, good at the vet. She was a brave girl! The vet said she is in good health, considering the condition in which she lived for years. Both her knees pop in and out of their sockets. I can't think of the medical term but you guys know it. He said that by building up her muscle tone, it might stop happening too. He doesn't feel she's in need of surgery, though her teeth are in very bad shape. One needs to be extracted. He also put her on Select Care dog food, something easy to digest for her. He want her to gain a bit of weight, but for it to be muscle tone.. I feel so much better! Kath
